Museo Sorsogon

The local government of Sorsogon took control of the old provincial jail. Then, they transformed it into the museum that we know today as Museo Sorsogon. The museum aims to preserve and share the region’s rich history and vibrant culture. The Provincial Tourism Culture and Arts Office of the city oversees the museum.

Promoting the province as a tourist destination has become one of their primary missions. You can learn about the history at the Museo Sorsogon. Aside from that, you can also know more about its role in the Philippine Revolution and life during the American occupation. Located on the grounds of the Provincial Capitol, the museum remains open from 8 AM to 5 PM on Tuesdays through Sundays.

Rompeoles Lighthouse

The Rompeolas is a well-known attraction in the province of Sorsogon. It is an obvious feature along the Rompeolas Bay Walk in Sorsogon City. You can take pleasant strolls in the afternoon while experiencing the sea wind. Pinaculan Island may be seen from the Rompeolas, and the hanging bridge provides easy access to the island at any time. Once you get there, you can relax in the fresh air and take pictures in front of the Rompeolas Lighthouse.

The area of Gubat, Sorsogon is the home of Tulay sa Tibo. It has become a must-visit place to go on a thrilling nature date. The mangroves’ wander forest looks and feels fantastic. Bulusan Lake and Forest Park

If you’ve been to the Mayon Volcano in Legazpi, you’ll probably want to go to Bulusan Volcano in Sorsogon. It’s another place to see in Sorsogon that you must visit. Of course, it’s a wonderful nature paradise to see. Here, you can see the two mountains and the Bulusan Volcano. Those two mountains are called sharp peak and hormahan. The Lake Aguinay also dries out during the summer, making it another reason to see the destination. Bulusan Lake and Forest Park also offer activities that any visitors or guests can experience.
