After a week of trying out the realme 9i, we got to check out different aspects of the unit, from the usual everyday use to enjoying its different features. We got to try out why realme 9i is perfect for those who work hard and desire to play harder.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY

For a day-to-day workhorse unit, this is something you would not be shy carrying with its classy finish. The Prism Black unit is something worth showing around. Though the back finish tends to get a lot of smudges and fingerprints, realme included a silicon case that can protect it well. It also comes in Prism Blue color for a brighter feel.

The unit boasts a wide 6.6-inch Full HD IPS+ panel with a 90hz refresh rate. Perfect for casual social media browsing, messaging, and enjoying your streaming or downloaded videos.

The fingerprint scanner, which serves as the wake-up and power button, is placed perfectly fine on the sides. It easily activates even at the slightest touch. On the opposite side are the volume buttons right below the sim tray.

SOUNDS AND CAMERA

The realme 9i not just pleases the eyes but your ears as well with its dual stereo speakers. The earpiece serves as another speaker aside from the usual bottom speaker grille. The 3.5mm headphone jack is still available at the bottom part.

Get to capture more with the realme 9i’s triple rear camera; a combo of 50MP f/1.8 wide + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor setup. The details in normal lighting conditions come out great given the 50mp sensor that you can toggle on and off. The auto setting alongside the AI camera feature works great – from portraits, landscapes, and your favorite food shots. Adding up to it is a 16mp wide front camera which is perfect for… selfies!

GAMING AND PERFORMANCE

You’ll definitely have a good gaming experience with everything under its hood. With the combination of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor, Adreno 610 GPU, and 6GB RAM, no doubt that this unit works well for medium to even high game settings. I get to go back to my COD gaming over the week, and I got to enjoy MP and BR modes in high graphic quality and medium frame rate settings. You do not need to worry as well with the storage with its 128GB memory, with support of 1TB microSD expansion.
