Korean heartthrob Wi Ha-Jun will visit the Philippines this May to interact with his fans for an upcoming solo fan meeting.
Ha-Jun is best known for his role in the critically-acclaimed Netflix program Squid Game. In this hit series, he portrayed a cop who infiltrated the elite’s deadly games in search of his lost brother. As a result, the remarkable role earned him the praise of the public.
With his growing popularity, Ha-Jun became the new face of the leading local retail brand Bench in May last year. Coinciding his nearing first anniversary as its celebrity endorser, the actor will be headlining a fan meeting event.
Wi Ha-Jun to hold solo fan meeting in Manila
On Monday, Bench took to its social media pages to reveal a treat for the Squid Game actor’s Filipino supporters. Through GAMEPLAY with Wi Ha-Jun, fans can partake in many surprises and activities that guarantee an ultimate “kilig” experience.
According to Bench, the fan meeting will be held on May 21 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City. Further mechanics and other details will be revealed soon.
Prior to Squid Game, Ha-Jun’s other major roles include Romance is a Bonus Book and 18 Again. He also appeared as part of the main cast for Bad and Crazy and Little Women.
Since the news broke out about Ha-Jun’s Manila visit, Filipino fans are expressing excitement. The event double-marks the actor’s pilot local solo fan meet and his first-time trip to the country.
