Christians are born religious. It is one of the most common characteristics that we have and Filipinos want it to spread all over the world. Actually, during Holy Week, almost each and every Filipino visits a Christian church. Mostly, we attend masses and processions that are quite a tradition to do every single year that passes.

In our municipality, masses are available everyday yet processions are done during Holy Wednesday, Good Friday and sometimes on Easter Sunday afternoon. During these times, Filipinos don’t even mind going back to churches from time to time because for them, this is their way of showing how overwhelmed they are for our Creator’s sacrifice.

Now, after having time to visit our Creator, it is now time to go home and prepare something to eat.

2. Prepare a brunch feast.

Since Filipinos attend morning masses, they don’t usually have time to eat breakfast. Yet, knowing that people in the Philippines are a great cook, this is not a problem at all.

Here, elders may cook lots of Easter dishes. It may include rice, pork and chicken, hot cross buns, glazed ham, cheese and any other type of food that you want in your table. Just a little reminder to always pray before eating and don’t you ever waste any food in front of you.
