After Wallows’ successful tour in Europe, they have already landed the country to cater to their Filipino fans. Aside from Manila, their Asian stop also includes Singapore, Bangkok, Seoul, and Tokyo.
Wallows kicked off the TELL ME THAT IT’S OVER TOUR in April 2022 with a sold-out North American leg. Next to this success was the sold-out shows in Australia & New Zealand in November.
Getting to know the Wallows
Wallows is an American alternative rock band based in Los Angeles comprised of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston. The band began releasing songs independently in April 2017 with their first single ‘Pleaser’. As a result of hard work and talent, it reached number two on the Spotify Global Viral 50 chart. And so in 2018, Wallows signed with Atlantic Records. They released their major label debut EP, Spring, produced by GRAMMY® award-winning producer John Congleton. Afterward, the band released its debut studio album, Nothing Happens, in 2019. It featured the double platinum single ‘Are You Bored Yet? (feat Clairo)‘ with the same producer– Congleton. Later in 2020, EP, Remote was also released.
Tell Me That It’s Over Album
Wallows’ sophomore album Tell Me That It’s Over, released on March 25th, was produced by the multi-GRAMMY® Award winner Ariel Rechtshaid. It is likewise the producer of big names in the music industry like Vampire Weekend, Haim, and Adele. The album contains 10 tracks featuring an eclectic array of styles. In fact, it varies from lo-fi post-punk, and indie-folk, to early-’90s dance-pop psychedelia. Yes, Tell Me That It’s Over is a thrilling continuation of the sonic exploration that began on Wallows’ 2019 album Nothing Happens. Undoubtedly, it is one of the highest-streamed debuts from any band that year.
