Traveling has always felt, for some reason, relieving. Not only does it allow you to learn about the place, but it also helps you get to know yourself even more. Taking photos and videos is the best thing to do while traveling. That way, you wouldn’t forget the memories you had and you would be able to relieve them as time passes by. Sorsogon is such an underrated place to visit. And, that’s why we all need the perfect travel partner — the new OPPO Reno 8T 5G

Siama Hotel

Last February 27, we rode a plane from Manila to Daraga before going on an hour and thirty minutes drive to our accommodation for the duration of our trip, Siama Hotel. Siama Hotel is a boutique hotel nestled in a grove of coconuts, consisting of modern thirty rooms. It allows you to leave the noise of the Metro and experience the laid-back elegance of the place. Aside from that, it is also designed to make guests feel the comfort of home. It’s breathtaking and definitely a must-visit in Sorsogon City.

Bulusan Lake

The ambiance of Bulusan Lake in Sorsogon feels tranquil. The scenic calmness is a direct result of the deep emerald green water, surrounded by the rainforest’s wondrously lush flora and fauna. Lying at the heart of Bulusan Volcano National Park, it covers a land area of more than three thousand acres. Aside from that, it’s formed by tectonic damming and perhaps another crater of a volcano. Although the water looks greenish, the waterbed remains rocky and sandy, and even muddy.

Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm

Balay Buhay sa Uma Bee Farm is an agri-tourism site in Sorsogon. It’s a combination of a resort, a bee farm, and even a restaurant. Offering a farm living experience, it has a serene and nature-calming environment. Aside from that, the best features of the place involve its main activities. These include swimming in the natural pool, and mini fish pond, getting honey from the bees, gardening, hiking, and so much more.

Museo Sorsogon

Museo Sorsogon is a newly-completed museum. It used to be an Old Provincial Jail and was eventually restored with an amphitheater and coffee shops. Guests and visitors will be able to discover historic eras of Sorsogon through various galleries. It’s basically a chance to know everything about Sorsogon under one roof. The first two galleries feature geography, culture, climate, dialects, and local folklore.

Meanwhile, the third and fourth galleries narrate how the Spanish colonial regime shaped Sorsogon. The fifth gallery, on the other hand, tells the story of the early armed resistance against the Americans and the progress that the eventual colonizers would bring. Then, the sixth gallery features Sorsogon during World War II and the Japanese occupation. The seventh gallery features post-war Sorsogon, its road to recovery, and the disasters that residents had to endure.

These included catastrophic storms, the eruptions of Mt. Bulusan, and the famous Sorsoganons who displayed heroism during the Martial Law years. The eighth gallery showcases the city’s main industries, displaying decorative and utilitarian items made from pili nut shells, abaca fibers, niyog, and some tools produced by blacksmiths of the city.

Also, the ninth gallery houses the city’s traditional love and courtship dance. Sorsogon even bagged the Guinness World Record for the Largest Filipino Folk Dance when 7, 127 people from all over the province performed Pantomina along the lengthy Rompeolas Baywalk. The tenth gallery, then, exhibits replicas and stories behind Sorsogon’s natural and historical tourist gems.

Using the new Oppo Reno 8T 5G during the trip to Sorsogon

After the entire trip was over, we had a farewell dinner at the Siama Hotel and went back to Manila. The OPPO Reno 8T 5G was such a delight to use during our trip to Sorsogon. It has a 120Hz 3D Curved Screen, the first for the Reno Series.

Our favorite, on the other hand, would be the Ultra-Clear Portrairs with the 108MP Camera. We were able to capture Sorsogon in all its beauty, especially with the one-of-a-kind 40x Microlens Camera and 2MP depth camera. Blurred and pixelated resolutions have become a thing of the past. Aside from that, we loved the AI Portrait Super Resolution which optimizes portraits no matter the light condition.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your trip to Sorsogon and bring your new OPPO Reno 8T 5G with you!
