This Filipina actress stars with Lee Sung Kyung in a drama series

Being part of a drama series is already a blessing, but co-starring it with big names like Lee Sung Kyung is something else. Well, a Filipina celebrity got the chance to work with the 29-year-old South Korean superstar in drama Dr. Romantic 2.

Cherish Maninga shared her once in a lifetime experience with Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo star in an Instagram post.

“I have never met a star as down to earth, kind and as caring as her,” Maninga started.

“This was taken during our first day of shooting. While on stand by, I had a long talk with Korean actress Lee Sung Kyung 이성경. I was going through something that time. She said “I will pray for you. And I’m not just saying that. They’re not empty words. I AM REALLY GOING TO PRAY FOR YOU.”

“And she shared to us her life verse: “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see,” she added.

Aside from being an actress and director, Maningan is also a YouTube vlogger. She is living in South Korea for 14 years now

In her own YT channel, she shared a video clip of Lee Sung Kyung giving a message to her Filipino fans.
