ASUS Philippines just launched these laptops that promise to give us The Power of More. It sets to change tomorrow with their top-notch performance. Of course, this includes extreme portability and unique style for the next level of uncompromised productivity.

Evolved ZenBook Duo Design

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 became an evolution of the stunning ZenBook industrial design of its predecessors. It went through an internal layout redesign to enable an ErgoLift and Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) Plus hinge. This lifts the ScreenPad Plus to a more ergonomic angle while accommodating a set of top-end, high-performance components. The asymmetric-circle trademark ZenBook pattern gives it a modern and sophisticated appearance. It also only weighs only 1.6 kg and is 16.9 mm slim. This remains 50gr lighter and 3 mm slimmer than the previous generation.

The New Tilting ScreenPad Plus

Last year, ASUS released the unprecedented ScreenPad Plus on the first-generation ASUS ZenBook Duo. It provided a solution that gave users the ultimate edge in workflow and multi-tasking efficiency. This new one, on the other hand, now features a new hinge design that incorporates the Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) Plus thermal system. This lifts the 12.6-inch ScreenPad Plus by up to 7 degrees, and the laptop itself off the desk to optimize cooling performance. A new and improved ScreenXpert User Interface (UI) and shortcuts along with several new apps enable a more intuitive interaction between the main display and the ScreenPad Plus. It also comes with an ASUS Pen that will surely help you create with more ease.

New ScreenXpert Control Center

ScreenPad Plus now features a brand-new Control Center UI and has become a lot snappier. Users can adjust the location of the Control Center and snap it to the right, left, or bottom, according to preference. A new Control Center button makes it possible to minimize the taskbar into a floating button. This also enables an auto-hide function that hides the taskbar entirely. Buttons on the new Control Center taskbar can also be added or moved to allow for customization.

Control Panel

To help creators accelerate workflows with the ScreenPad Plus, ASUS has added a new Control Panel app to the ScreenXpert User Interface (UI). This function currently supports Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom Classic. When the user opens any of these apps, the Control Panel app opens a corresponding panel suited to each software set. This enables commonly used functions such as zoom, brightness, and contrast via sliders, buttons, and dials. Creators can also fully customize the functions and icon positioning for each of the app-specific decks. The Control Panel will automatically launch the deck assigned to each of the supported apps.

Achieve ultimate mobile productivity

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482EA) gets its powers from the 11^th Generation Intel® Core i7™ processor and up to 4.7 GHz for incredible performance. This comes with multiple cores and paired with 16 GB RAM to make light work of cross-screen workflows using the 12.6-inch ScreenPad Plus and the main display. Ultrafast storage with up to a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 SSD helps accelerate any workflow and optimize productivity. ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 also features ASUS Intelligent Performance Technology (AIPT), which works with the 11^th Generation Intel® processors to intelligently boost performance. Using Performance mode, users can also enjoy a performance boost of up to 40% compared to a similar standard laptop.

The ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 will come in an Intel Evo variant powered by the 11^th Generation Intel® Core™ processors paired with Intel® Iris® Xe graphics that provides a better computing performance and can enable FHD gameplay at up to 60 fps with better battery life and mobility than previously possible. The new processors revolutionize modern creative workflows with Intel® Deep Learning Boost AI acceleration and AV1 media encoding and decoding technology. Also, they integrate the latest, highest-speed Wi-Fi technology as well as new Thunderbolt™ 4 technology to connect to a universe of peripherals and enable single-cable access to fast charging, external monitors, and extended storage.

Powerful NVIDIA® GeForce® MX450 Graphics

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 (UX482EG) will also come in another variant with a powerful NVIDIA® GeForce® MX450 GPU that’s capable of accelerating workloads. You can expect up to 2 times faster performance over GeForce® MX250 graphics, as well as faster, smoother gaming and content creation. When the AIPT mode on the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14 is switched to Performance mode. The GPU performance can increase by up to 20%, versus the standard model due to a TGP boost. It also works seamlessly with NVIDIA® Optimus® technology to give you the perfect balance between long battery life and performance, only enabling the dedicated MX450 GPU when necessary, disabling it otherwise to extend battery life.

Sophisticated, Soothing Design

The chassis and lids of the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED are made of diamond-cut aluminum alloy. As with all other ASUS ZenBooks, the unique concentric-circle ZenBook finish is featured on their lids, presenting a surface that is soothing and sophisticated in appearance. The ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED weighs 1.14 kg, respectively. Along with a thin and lightweight design, it features a side profile of 13.9 mm, which results in a sleek form factor that is easy to carry.

OLED FHD with 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut

ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED has an up to 13.3-inch OLED HDR display that supports 1920 x 1080 resolution and 0.2 ms response time. The display delivers exceptionally detailed and true-to-life colors, with a cinema-grade 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and PANTONE validation. This means that the colors reproduced on the display are richer and more vivid. It also remains ideal for color-intensive projects. But also enhances any kind of content. Designers, producers, and brands deal with color-critical decisions and communications each day.

Blue light

Blue light causes visual discomfort and disrupts sleep quality. Due to the nature of the special organic lighting materials in an OLED display, ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED emits 70% less harmful blue light. This also makes it safer for our eyes and even more for children. Plus, they’re also certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS.

ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED’s display has about a 60% higher color volume. It also offers clarity in display and colors at any brightness level. OLED maintains a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut at both high and low brightness levels. Meanwhile, on a standard LCD laptop, the color gamut has reduced dramatically at low brightness levels. At a low brightness level, LCD laptops only have an 11% DCI-P3 color gamut, while OLED laptops maintain a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Blur-free experience

Compared to average LCDs in the market, measuring energy emission of blue light in between 415-455 nm wavelength. ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED reproduces true blacks perfectly. This enables extremely crisp and clear images even in the darkest scenes. This can’t be done on an ordinary LED display, because the backlight can’t be turned off with the precision needed. This fact also gives ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED’s display exceptionally high contrast.

ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED’s display features a blur-free experience with 0.2 ms response time – among the fastest of any laptop, and 50x faster than the average laptop LCD. In fact, most LCD laptop displays have a response time between 10 and 25 ms. This ensures smoother fast-paced action scenes, low-latency gameplay, and subtle details like blur-free text scrolling.

With extended use, certain pixels on an OLED display may age, resulting in degraded colors (burn-in). Luckily, the ASUS ZenBook 13 OLED comes with ASUS OLED Care, which is a screensaver designed to prevent OLED burn-in, as well as to extend the overall lifespan of the display and prolong battery life which can be activated through the MyASUS App.
