With just water, lemon and sugar, you’re ready to beat the summer heat. This lemonade keeps well for about five days in the fridge, although it’s a good idea to give it a swift stir just before serving each time.

  • 1 cup or 240ml of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • A cup of sugar
  • 1 quart or 1L of cold water

  • Juice the lemons and strain out the pulp.
  • Combine the lemon juice and sugar to make a lemonade base. Add the sugar to the strained lemon juice and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Pour cold water and chill.
  • Add ice to the glass and garnish with lemon slices. Serve and Enjoy!
