How I want to style my new Converse Run Star Motion Platforms

Recently, I celebrated my 25th birthday. And, one of the gifts I received from my boyfriend is one of my dream shoes ever. I’ve been looking for these shoes in stores. However, I can’t seem to ever find them. My boyfriend, on the other hand, used his resources to look for the Converse Run Star Motion Platforms. He found them on ZPT PH. Of course, when I received them, I felt happily overwhelmed.

Last August 15, I went out with a few of my closest friends and wore the Converse Run Star Motion Platforms for the first time. I wore a black cropped top with tie-up strings on the sides, and a baggy pair of denim pants with chains hanging on the side. Then, I completed the outfit with the DVL Incandescent bag from Straightforward. I also wore chained earrings, a few bangles on my wrists, and put sunglasses over my head.

So, naturally, I wanted to style the Converse Run Star Motion Platforms in ways that I would actually wear them:

On a hot day.

The Philippine weather is weird. Sometimes, it’s cold. And, yeah – sometimes, it’s hot. So, preparing an outfit for a hot day remains essential. This outfit has a simple black sleeveless cropped top and a pair of denim Bermuda shorts.

Since, I already have silver earrings, silver necklaces, and the DVL Incandescent bag from Straightforward, I would reuse it for this outfit. The Converse Run Star Motion Platforms elevate the outfit to the next level.

During a work day.

Of course, we can’t forget a day at the office. I would wear a sleeveless cropped top and a pair of pants that I already have in my closet. Since it’s a work day, I would put on a white oversized button-down shirt as a cover-up. Then, re-wear the silver accessories and the Straightforward bag. Of course, let’s make it fun with some floral socks.

Brunch with the girls.

Ah, I love brunch. Although I don’t wake up early, I would wake up just to hang out with the girls for a brunch. So, I would wear a white cropped top and a pair of black and white gingham pants. Of course, I would accessorize with my new evil eye earrings, some gold layered necklaces, the Straightforward bag, and a pair of black sunglasses.

A night out.

Although I said that I love hanging out with the girls for brunch, I love it, even more, when we go for a night out. I’ve had this black romper for a long time. I’ve worn this so many times and I would re-wear it for a night out.

Reasons Why You Should Have A Cat at Home

To elevate the outfit, I would wear a blazer over it and the same floral socks. Aside from that, I would accessorize with gold hooped evil eye earrings and gold layered necklaces. The fact that it was all black, the Converse Run Star Motion Platforms stand out from the rest of the outfit.

Going on a date.

Okay, so, this outfit might not be perfect for a date. This might be perfect for someone who still goes to school. But, I don’t actually care, lol. I love sweater vests and the fact that it makes me look like a student (basically, younger). I would wear a white short-sleeved cropped top, baggy corduroy pants, and layering a black sweater vest over it. Then, accessorize with my new evil eye earrings and gold layered necklaces. Of course, don’t forget the Converse Run Star Motion Platforms.

On a fun event.

As a writer, I would sometimes go to events for work. So, naturally, I would plan an outfit for it. I recently bought a funk top on Shopee and I would love to wear it soon. Since it’s an event, I would wear a black blazer over it. Of course, I would accessorize it with the evil eye earrings, gold layered necklaces, and my Straightforward bag.
