Study says the Philippines is the 7th snorkeling destination in the world

Recently, Bounce listed the best countries for snorkeling around the world. Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water, equipped with a diving mask, a shaped tube, and sometimes, this includes fins. It allows us to recreationally observe and explore the world under the ocean’s surface.

Bounce lists the best countries for snorkeling around the world

Australia comes first with an 8.23/10 rating. Home to the second largest area of coral reef in the world, Australia contributes 0% to global plastic waste emission, actively keeping oceans clean.

Then, Maldive comes second with a 7.33/10 rate. They get to have a low sea temperature spread of 0.45-degree Celsius. This means you will likely need one set of gear and a wetsuit when you go.

Sylver Sy even got ethereal footage of this experience.

Recently, airasia Super App Philippines invited Village Pipol Magazine – along with other media friends – over to Bohol. One of our activities included snorkeling on Balicasag Island in Bohol.

Sylver even went to Napaling Reef in Panglao, Bohol to watch Sardines Run. Divers from all over the world visit these dive spots to feel mesmerized by the natural marine beauty.
