During that same day, five national artists expressed their support towards Robredo’s presidential bid. National Artists Ben Cab (Visual Arts), Alice Reyes (Dance), Ramon Santos and Ryan Cayabyab (Music), and Virgilio Almario, also known as Rio Alma (Literature) joined forces to publicly announce their decision to endorse Robredo.

“She needs us [and] we need her. Gawin natin lahat for the love of this country,” Reyes said.

Robredo also received a copy of the Arts and Culture Kartilya (Guidebook) from Rio Alma.

Moreover, a poetry book, 100 Pink Poems for Leni, by San Anselmo Press, was revealed at the event.

Robredo’s Valentines Day was spent entirely with her supporters due to her jampacked schedule consisting of three events. Senior Citizens, artists, and the LGBTQ community were present during the Araw ng Rosas affairs.

“At least before my Valentine’s ended, I found a date,” she said.
