Yesterday, March 14, a day before the start of Metro Manila community quarantine, celebrity couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati proceeded with their wedding ceremony. With the global crisis going on, they decided to go for a simple, intimate celebration with their families.

The grand wedding celebration has been set for another date. It is expected to be attended by big names in showbiz, politics, and business, including three Philippine presidents.

In an Instagram post, Sarah and Richard announced that they are now married. They shared snippets taken during and after the ceremony.

Last March 12, the same day President Rodrigo Duterte declared a Code Red Sublevel 2 in the country because of the COVID-19 outbreak, the couple announced the postponement of their wedding.
