After seven years as a couple, YouTube stars Lincoln “Cong TV” Velasquez and Viy Cortez are finally getting married! With Cong’s new vlog titled VIYDAY, it marked the couple’s happiest and sweetest moment yet. It features his 31st birthday celebration, their son Kidlat’s christening, and his proposal to his longtime girlfriend.
The vlog quickly became the country’s top trending video within six hours, melting the hearts of the Chicken Feet Gang and casual viewers alike. So, to celebrate their recent engagement, allow me to bring you down memory lane, and let’s reminisce about the newly-engaged couple’s romantic moments on YouTube!

Starting way back six years ago, we see a young Cong and Viy in their first year as a couple in the video, SALISI MAN | CONG VLOGS #3. The video marks the first time that Cong’s Chicken Feet Gang see Viy on the channel. OG fans still refer to this vlog whenever they describe Cong as a desirable partner. He brought her food for lunch and even dropped her over at their house after her shift. The vlog will remind you of their simpler times, long before the success and riches of the entire Team Payaman.
ANNIVLOGSARY
Vlogging their second anniversary with ANNIVLOGSARY, the couple celebrated with a simple meal and a room for the night. Banters and jokes filled the video, making the audience see their goofy and explicit chemistry. It might not be too sweet, but you can feel Cong and Viy’s comfort in being with each other. Plus, as a bonus, the video also included one of the first few times that she hinted at her interest in marriage.
PAASAFORTE
Fast forward to five months ago, Cong TV released a video entitled PAASAFORTE. Anyone can see Cong’s plight for flight as an upcoming Vietnam trip gets jinxed by a missing passport, much to Viy’s amusement. A hilarious search ensues under her sneering. He looks through countless boxes of old trash under the bed. Viy and Cong’s wager turned in his favor when his mother finally found the passport.
A triumphant Cong packed his bags and left for the airport. However, he had cold feet, citing a gut feeling. He, then, returned to the then-pregnant Viy with a monologue saying he would only travel when the three of them are finally together. This video is one of my favorites yet we can see the testament to his undying love for Viy and his family.
Now, Cong and Viy have a child and are now soon-to-be-married.
The couple has not even changed much. And, that’s a great thing! They had a glow-up and all that – but, behind the mansions and extravagant events, Cong and Viy remain to be the person they were six years ago. Anyone can truly feel the love between them, no matter the years!
