Mark Models’ Jay Bardelas takes pill of perseverance to achieve his goals
Known to be a hardworking person, Jay Bardelas is revving up en route to the modeling scene.
As Mark Models opens its gate to aspiring models and influencers, it also aims to break the accustomed standards in the entertainment scene. Taking the pill of perseverance, a 23-year old breadwinner embodies a fervent soul to reach his dreams.
With his appealing oriental look, he’s definitely ready to rule the fashion world. Jay is available for test shoots, advertising, and commercial print ads bookings.
Filled with talents and skills, he got a lot on his plate. Aside from being a part-time event singer, he also explores his passion for cooking. In fact, he started his small food business during the pandemic.
Undoubtedly, Jay is one of the ever tireless and driven individuals in the lineup. At a young age, he was able to perform numerous tasks.
“I started working at the age of 18 as a call center agent and studied at the same time. Now, I finish my school and wants to pursue my passion as a professional model and to be in the entertainment industry,”
More than his zealous attribute, he also aims to show everyone that modeling is not just for well-off people and good-looking ones. He believes that this industry is for dedicated individuals.
“These are for everyone who dreams to become a model and will do what it takes to be a good one. That’s what I want to advocate and that’s who I am.”
En route to modeling
Prior to entering the flashing scene, Jay has also joined a national male pageant. It was the time when he got his interest en route to modeling.
Revving up his self in the fashion scene, he admitted that he never had professional training. Despite the willingness, he never had the chance to take it due to a particular reason. He thought that he doesn’t fit the standards. However, an opportunity came up.
“But it was started when my friend Ghen asked by a photographer if they can have photoshoots, but since she’s alone and too afraid to go, she brings me on the set and ended up as an extra model. I’m thankful to her for doing that,”
To further improve himself, he often checks international modeling agencies including LA Models Men. As an icon with oriental features, he’s glad to witness the rise of Asian models in the industry.
“Asians are stepping up in the modeling industry. I am looking forward to being a model inspiration as well.”
In addition to his hobbies of singing and cooking, Jay also believes that it’s ‘important to stay healthy.’
Learning never stops
As he takes part in the prestigious lineup of Mark Models, he knows the challenges that he might face along the process.
“There will be a lot of rejections. Having an agency doesn’t mean that you are a successful model. No, you need to work hard because learning never stops,”
Moreover, he sets his mind to prove that his presence in the agency is worthy. Also, he knows that it will be very challenging, but will run smoothly as soon as he gets the track.
“I should represent Mark Models as I symbolize hard work. No matter how hard it is to reach your dreams, there’s always a way to make it,”
Lastly, he underlined that he flames the fire to pursue his dream to be a successful icon. With his strong mind and burning passion, he can definitely make it possible.
