LoveYourself’s Cherry Poppin’ Date Auction is back with ‘Diversity’ theme
We still have a few months before summer season but LoveYourself is already giving us the taste of warm feelings through its biggest and hottest fundraising event, the ‘Cherry Poppin: Perfect 4 You.’
Come and join the ‘Cherry Poppin: Perfect 4 You’, the post-Valentine event that will be held on February 22, 2020 (Saturday) at 8pm, at One Canvas Events Place, Makati City.
Cherry Poppin’ 4: Perfect 4 You is the fourth installment of LoveYourself’s annual date auction fundraising event which also aims to gather more than 300 guests from the LGBT community and straight allies. Just like before, attendees will have the opportunity to bid for special dates among gorgeous and delightful auctionees.
Diversity
This year, LoveYourself comes with a different and fresh idea that aims to support diversity among LGBT community. Aside from its usual modelesque hunks over the past years, Perfect 4 You will include transgender women, chubby guys from the bear community, femme boys, and other surprise categories to bid for. “We respect everyone’s preferences and we want everyone to find someone that is perfect for them,” LoveYourself says.
Furthermore, Cherry Poppin 4 promises to entertain all your senses and be bigger than its previous events with new sets of celebrity DJs, drag performances, fashion shows, fun games, and musical numbers.
Party for a Cause
Through this event, LoveYourself aims to raise funds for its advocacy services. The organization will officially launch Self Care, an HIV self-screening program, and the LoveYourself Loyalty program, a scheme to provide a premium service to holders.
This event will further promote the recently launched PrEPPilipinas, its Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) program to prevent HIV. All proceeds of the auction will be used in the said programs and campaigns.
LoveYourself is a community-based non-profit organization that advocates for greater awareness on sexual health, trans health, and mental wellness through various programs and projects.
