Kim Seon Ho is dropping a new song with self-written lyrics this May

Are you guys ready? ‘Start-up’ actor Kim Seon Ho has announced his plans to release a new song and music video!

On April 30, SALT Entertainment officially announced the exciting news. He will be releasing a single with Korean artist Epitone Project called “Because It’s You” this May 6.

“Kim Seon Ho and Epitone Project will be releasing the collaboration single ‘Because it’s You’ [literal translation] on May 6 at 6 p.m. KST.”

“Because It’s You,” which was composed and produced by Epitone Project, is described as a soft pop song with an acoustic sound. Not only will the single put Kim Seon Ho’s vocal talents on display, but it will also feature lyrics that were personally penned by the actor.

 “After Kim Seon Ho appeared in Epitone Project’s music video for ‘Sleepless‘ last year, they ended up working together on this new song. As a gift for the fans who are always cheering him on, he has prepared a song that can be a part of fans’ everyday lives. Because it’s a gift that actor Kim Seon Ho prepared with his heart, we hope that you will be happy to receive it.”

Kim Seon Ho gained massive popularity after playing the “good boy,” Han Ji Pyeong, in the hit Netflix drama “Start-Up” starring Suzy Bae and Nam Joo Hyuk.

Born on May 8, 1986, Kim Seon Ho is a South Korean actor. In fact, he began his career on stage and appeared in numerous plays before making his screen debut in 2017 with Good Manager.

Meanwhile, Seon-ho is reportedly starring in an upcoming romantic comedy-drama with Shin Min Ah. Kim Seon Ho plays Hong Doo Shik, a talented software engineer who is unemployed and spends most of his time helping around the village. He meets Yoon Hye Jin, played by Shin Min Ah who moves her dental practice to the quaint village.
