As coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases continue to rise in the country, Filipina superstar Kathryn Bernardo honored her sister for her work as a medical frontliner. The 24-year-old actress showed her appreciation to her big sis Kaye who is currently in United Kingdom as a nurse.
In an online interview with Magandang Buhay, Kathryn shared how proud she is for having a sister who is working tirelessly in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.
So mas naging proud ako lalo sa ate ko during this situation,” the actress said.
Kathryn on the importance of communication this pandemic
In this time of need, communicating with your loved ones is really important. Kathryn shared that she always communicate with her sister and with the other members of her family since some of them are currently living in different locations.
“Nag-uusap kami palagi buti ngayon mayroon ng apps to call them anytime, nag-a-update-an kami. So magkakahiwalay kami lahat. So nag-a-update-an,” she stated.
Realizations and learnings
On the other hand, Kathryn, just like ordinary people, revealed that she made a lot of realizations amid the crisis we are all facing.
In fact, she has learned to appreciate more the even smallest things in life.
So grabe ‘yung appreciation ko ngayon sa life,” Kathryn continued.
