Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla make their return to the teleserye scene with the new series 2G2BT (2 Good 2 Be True).
In the video, Kathryn and Daniel posed for the cameras in a photoshoot, with the former wearing scrubs.
Daniel, on the other hand, respectively wore a black suit, a black tank top, and a black hoodie.
KathNiel, as they are collectively known, said how this show is one of their surprises for fans.
Furthermore, the surprise stems from their celebration of 10 years as a love team.
In the video, Daniel and Kathryn said,
“Mga Kapamilya, nandito tayo para sa isa’t isa, kaya nandito po kami para magbigay ng regalo sa inyo. Bilang pasasalamat sa sampung taon nating pagkakasama, magkakasama po ulit tayo sa isang teleserye. 2 Good 2 Be True, abangan!”
As per an ABS-CBN release, 2G2BT will be under the helm of Mae Cruz-Alviar, who worked with Kathryn and Daniel in the films Crazy Beautiful You and Can’t Help Falling in Love.
Moreover, ABS-CBN’s RGE unit, which handled shows like Ipaglaban Mo and Bagong Umaga, will produce the show.
ABS-CBN has yet to announce a premiere date for 2G2BT.
Kathryn and Daniel last starred in the ABS-CBN horror-fantasy series La Luna Sangre from June 2017 to March 2018.
Recently, they starred in the digital series The House Arrest of Us from October 2020 to January 2021.
Apart from a television comeback, KathNiel also premiered a self-made documentary called KathNiel: Isang Dekada.
The documentary, which looked back on the love team’s milestones and how it started, marked their 10th anniversary.
We are so excited about your new series, Kathryn and Daniel!
