Jason Abalos to welcome first baby with Vickie Rushton
Celebrity couple Jason Abalos and Vickie Rushton are about to start a new chapter of their life with the anticipation of their first child.
Rushton broke the good news through an announcement on her social media page on Tuesday. On Instagram, the former beauty queen shared an ultrasound footage confirming her pregnancy. She also said it was her and her husband’s first time seeing their little one.
“For this child, we have prayed, and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts,” Rushton wrote in the caption. The line is a biblical verse excerpted from the Old Testament. It sends a message of hope and encouragement to welcome the coming of a precious gift of life.

Abalos and Rushton started seeing each other in 2010, ABS-CBN News reported in an article. The two then officially went public with their relationship in 2011.
Additionally, It took more than ten years of being together before Abalos and Rushton exchanged their wedding vows. Following over a decade of being lovers, they tied the knot on September 2022 at a parish in Silang, Cavite.
Abalos began his career in 2004 as a participant and later finalist for the talent search competition Star Circle Quest. His recent television appearances were in Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday in 2020 and Las Hermanas in 2021.
Meanwhile, Rushton was a pageant figure known for being crowned the Mutya ng Pilipinas International 2011. She joined Pinoy Big Brother in 2014 and has since received acting projects like Ang Probinsyano and La Luna Sangre.
