ICYMI: Catriona Gray To Be Immortalized in Madame Tussauds

2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray may have concluded her reign in a glorious fashion, but there’s no stopping her just yet. Early this month, it was announced that our queen will be immortalized in a wax figure in Madame Tussauds. She’s the 2nd Filipina who will get such honor.

2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach was the first Filipina to get such feat, her wax figure was launched in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong while Catriona’s will be in the Singapore branch. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is the other Filipino to have the same privilege. These three modern day Filipino heroes have brought so much pride, honor and, inspiration to our countrymen.

“I am so excited to see the final figure and be a part of this special event! To unveil the figure in my home country with my fans watching is another dream come true,” Gray said in a statement released by Madame Tussauds on Monday, which was presented like a gift for her birthday.

Madame Tussauds is a world class attraction that was built 200 years ago, but it has remained popular up to this day. It is known to give us a creative and artistic enlightenment to history. Instead of building monuments for celebrities, they are immortalized through a wax figure. You’ll be spellbound by the figures as it seems so real.
