Elevate your looks with this hair tutorial from Revlon

Working from home (WFH) was once a dream for most of us. Who wouldn’t want to earn a living by working remotely while spending more time with our loved ones right? If there’s one good thing that the coronavirus pandemic has brought us, there’s this opportunity. For the past few months, with the entire country was mostly in lockdown, working from home has become the new normal. It requires you though to log on to Zoom and Slack and the once hassle of our daily commute is accomplished in seconds.

When you’re at home, you’re too relaxed and it’s not common to dress up. Most of us just want to wear our fave PJs. Having said that, it’s still a must to be presentable, you still have to look good even virtually. Remember that perception management is the key. You don’t want to be perceived as irresponsible by looking sloppy. For these reasons alone, Revlon decided to collaborate with celebrity hairstylist and salon owner Mark Rosales to do a fun live discussion and hair tutorial. The goal is to help all of us upstyle our own hair for our Zoom meetings. Mind you that if you look good, you’ll perform well and that’s what Revlon is aiming for.

What is the tutorial all about?

“I will be sharing my favorite hairstyles for my muses like Gabbi Garcia, Lovi Poe, and Klea Pineda. Hairstyles that can help the girls to still look good and professional during virtual meetings. I want to teach women to fix their own hair in the comfort of their own homes. We understand that not everyone has the time to visit and sit at the salon. Our goal is to inspire everyone that in spite of the current situation, it’s a must for us to take care of ourselves. We deserve to elevate our looks regardless if we only go to supermarkets, banks or in a virtual meeting.”, Mark said.

This is the second time for their collaboration. The first one was at the SMX beauty Fair in the last quarter of 2019. According to Mark, they are so excited about this project because more than ever they feel like they need to empower women. With this whole pandemic fiasco, people keep on neglecting themselves because they have a perception that there’s no need for that since they are just at home. But there’s more to it than just fixing your hair, it’s about boosting your confidence and making you feel good about yourselves.

What to expect?
