Courteney Cox playing ‘Friends’ theme song is the energy we all need

Courteney Cox is bringing the Friends nostalgia. The opening song to the popular series “Friends” will forever be iconic, and now an equally iconic person decided to cover it — Monica Geller!

On Instagram, the actress did a piano cover of the track featured on the very show she starred in, “I’ll Be There For You” by The Remembrandts.

Courteney even did the iconic clap which comes just before the main song plays in the series’ intro.

“How’d I do?” she wrote in the caption, tagging Joel Taylor who played the guitar.

As of writing, the video already reached more than a million likes and almost four million views.

Last Thanksgiving in November 2020, the actress also recreated a scene from the show wherein she danced with a turkey on her head.

“I’m feeling so thankful,” Cox began her Instagram video before adding that if she sees one more GIF of herself “with a turkey on my head dancing like a f**king fool, I’m just gonna snap.”
