‘CLOY’ Couple Hyun-Bin, Son Ye-Jin got married today!

Added to the list of famous people who are getting married this year, a leading couple from the hit drama “Crash Landing on You” tied the knots today, March 31, in an intimate ceremony in South Korea. 

The famous Korean stars: Hyun Bin, 39, and Son Ye-Jin, 40, got married at Grand Walkerhill Seoul in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. A wedding is at 4 PM, at which closest family, friends, and associates are present.

Hyun’s dearest friend, Jang Dong-gun, is expected to give a speech of congratulations.

Today, the actor agencies, VAST Entertainment, and MSTeam, expressed their gratitude to the fans who supported the couple’s relationship. Even though it’s a private celebration, agencies shared a sneak peek of the couple’s wedding photos and the statement. 

“Actors Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are holding their wedding ceremony today, taking their first step as a married couple. The ceremony will be private in consideration of the situation with COVID-19, so we ask for your generous understanding. We are sharing the news with their wedding photos instead.”


“We express deep gratitude for the many blessings, and warm support sent for their new beginning. Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin along with their agencies, will continue to put in full effort to give back for the love received.”

At the start of 2021, the stars confirmed that they were in a relationship. While on February, they announced their engagement. Today, the CLOY couple embarks on their new beginning as husband and wife. 

Invited People to the Wedding 

300 guests are expected to attend the wedding, including Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin’s friends and acquaintances. Among them is former soccer player Lee Dong-Guk, whose wife, Lee Soo-Jin posted a wedding invitation.

In addition, Lee Min-jung, Gong Hyo-jin, Uhm Ji-won, and Oh Yoon-ah, who are close friends of Son Ye-jin, will also attend the wedding. 

Jung Hae-in, Ahn Sung-ki, Park Joong-hoon, and Ha Ji-won are also expected to attend the wedding.

No Gifts Needed for the Newly Wed

In February, news broke that the two would tie the knot in March after being together for two years.

 Son Ye-Jin’s agency, MS Team Entertainment, announced two days prior to the wedding that they would not accept wedding gifts for the actress. 

“First of all, I would like to thank the fans for their interest and support to Son Ye-jin. However, we decided not to receive some items due to corruption and damage issues regarding wedding gifts for Son Ye-jin,” MS Team said. 

It added, “Please support Son Ye-jin only with your heart and message only. We ask for your active understanding and cooperation.” 

The agency said prohibited items for gifts are food like cake, bread, and fruit; flowers and wreaths; and expensive items.
