Class of 2021: Local celebrities who graduated amid pandemic

Graduations may be different this year. Families and friends will just gather at home to make a toast and even celebrate as students toss their caps collectively over video chats. While COVID-19 still hangs around the world, it’s still not advisable to have ceremonies and gatherings for graduations. Hence, a mixed feeling of sadness and happiness is absolutely understandable. Regardless, graduations remain an event that should be celebrated. As it proves the hard work and perseverance of every student.

Now that students have finally accomplished their academic life. It’s time to bring the spotlight to them. It may seem that graduation is a sign of ending. Let me share with you my favorite quote from Henry David Thoreau.

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.”

Graduation isn’t an end as it usually brings a new chapter of humble beginnings. Some celebrities shared on their social media account their graduation photos. It’s time for them to shine on their academic journey.

We’ve put the spotlight on these five local celebrities who graduated amid a pandemic.
