We, at Village Pipol, had the chance to review ASUS ExpertBook B5602C. Here are our thoughts:
Target Audience and Quick Specifications
ASUS ExpertBook, specifically the B5 model, targets mainstream and tender businesses. These are small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), education, and the manufacturing industry. Its portability, performance, battery life, and connectivity suit students and professionals who wish to travel with a laptop. It makes you efficient even if you’re on the go.
Here’s a rundown of ASUS ExpertBook B5602C specs:

One of the first things I noticed when I was inspecting the unit is how light it felt compared to others. As a working student who often has to travel with a laptop, portability is one of the many features that make it a perfect companion for work.
The top cover, which is said to be crafted from magnesium-aluminum alloy, looks elegant and minimalistic. It only has the logo in the center and the words “ExpertBook” in the corner. What’s more, is that the unit’s matte finish doesn’t attract fingerprints.
Additional design features that enhance user experience include the 180° ErgoLift hinge and backlit keyboard. They provide comfort and boost productivity.
16″ OLED Display
With an 82% screen-to-body aspect ratio and 16:10 resolution, ASUS ExpertBook B5 gives you a larger workspace. The OLED display, paired with a TÜV Rheinland Certification, assures that you get vivid visuals while avoiding the harmful effects of blue light emission.
This is perfect both for productivity and recreation. Whether you want to create and share a presentation or relax by watching a movie, the display gives an immersive experience.
To test its full potential, I downloaded and played Genshin Impact. I believe it’s the perfect game to test the ExpertBook B5’s OLED display since it is known for its vibrant and detailed visuals. I put it on the best graphics settings and I was and still am struck at how breathtaking and mesmerizing it looks. The colors pop off and it made the gaming experience so much better.
Productive and Reliable Performance
ASUS ExpertBook B5 caters not only to businesses but also has modernity and the future in mind. One rule when buying a computer is to check its specifications and make sure that they are good enough to be future-proof. The unit’s12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor and 16GB RAM memory deliver fast and reliable performance for your everyday use. It assures you that you can use it for a long time.
Moreover, you can add a memory of up to 8GB + 32GB and its dual storage can store up to 2TB. The Intel® Wi-Fi 6E supports up to 6GHz band spectrum, meaning, it gives a more responsive wireless connection.
Business
The features and specifications of ASUS ExpertBook B5 really say that it’s built for businesses. The CPU and GPU have what is called a HyperEncode or combined media engines for blazing fast encoding and HyperCompute or the simultaneous usage of multiple compute engines to accelerate creation.
Video conferences became even more popular during and after the pandemic. This unit gives a solution to common problems like privacy and sound quality.
The physical webcam shield safeguards privacy. You can slide the shield over the webcam to ensure that you are not secretly being captured.
It also has a two-way AI noise-canceling technology that filters background noise. On the audio and visual settings of your MyASUS software, you can choose from the many options for AI Noise Cancellation. This, however, increases power consumption.
I used the laptop for a few days for my daily work needs and it allowed me to be more productive with its responsive performance. Even using Adobe programs, which are some of the most demanding software for creatives, worked smoothly.
Moreover, ASUS ExpertBook B5 is equipped with the Intel vPro® Platform for hardware-level security and management. Together with TPM 2.0, a Kensington lock slot, and a fingerprint sensor, the unit ensures enterprise-grade durability and security. These features make it especially good for your business’s privacy.
Gaming
More than its daily productivity use, we also like to unwind from time to time by gaming. ASUS ExpertBook B5, while it is specifically for business, is also good for gaming. The double fan allows longer gaming time without sacrificing the temperature of the CPU.
The built-in software MyASUS lets you customize some gaming settings without much difficulty. Fan Profile gives you the option to pick your preferred fan speed and cooling performance.
Performance mode is relatively loud but it gives me the best graphics and frames per second in my games so I am not complaining.
One of my best parts is testing games using this laptop. I played Valorant, a basic yet popular game in the first-person shooter genre. I encountered a few problems due to its compatibility with Windows 11 but after a few fixing, it worked well. It gave me a low ping (less than 25), good-enough frames per second (more than 100), and vivid visuals, which are what you need to play well in an FPS game.
