Apple Lao is Great Man – Star Icon International Philippines 2023
A new king has been planted! Congratulations to Apple Lao for his appointment as Great Man – Star Icon International Philippines 2023. He will represent the country at Star Icon Universe World 2023 in India this July.
Finishing as Great Man of Visayas during Great Man of the Universe Philippines 2022, the announcement was made on March 11.

In a social media post by the Great Man of the Universe Philippines, the 20-year-old Apple is described as:
“This 5’11 Accountant hopeful is a sports enthusiast and academic achiever who is a consistent Dean’s Lister. He dreams of becoming a CPA Lawyer to be able to give justice to the imbalance and create a world where the youth can possibly grow for the better.”
A promising candidate with an impressive resume, his bio further states that:
“He has appeared in TV Guestings for Family Feud together with his co-Great Man of The Universe Phils. He is an advocate of Sports and Education wherein he won the Best Advocacy Award in his National Pageant. Amidst juggling between academe and being a student leader, Apple is a model, endorser, and titleholder. In just a span of 2 years, he has held 6 titles in his pageant journey. He is indeed an APPLE TO YOUR EYE TO WATCH for.”
With the success of Filipino titleholders in different male pageant last year, the pressure is on him to keep the momentum alive. The Star Icon Universe World competition will hold its finals on July 16 in Guwahati.
