Angelica Panganiban’s ‘The Kangks Show’ tops the most-watched list on WeTV Philippines

Angelica Panganiban’s newly released digital series ‘The Kangks Show‘ takes the current number one spot in the most-watched list of WeTV Philippines.

This is according to the post of Project 8 corner San Joaquin Projects, the show’s co-producer. It also added, it ranks fifth on WeTV US.

As soon as the show released its trailer last December 16, 2021, it already created a buzz on social media. Featuring the masterpiece of “That Thing Called Tadhana” director Antoinette Jadaone, the show really piqued the interest of the public.  

An eye-opener series

The series serves as an eye-opener to the viewers as it tackles various health and sex-related issues. It particularly underlines topics such as HIV/AIDS, gender identity, and even premature ejaculation.

According to WeTV Philippines, the story revolves around the story of Dra. Kara Teo, played by Angelica Panganiban. She goes all out to find the kinkiest and most controversial “sex gone wrong” and “sex gone wild” stories to feature on her show.

Additionally, in her desperation to save herself, she exposes her own past and plunges headfirst into the drama that even she has never experienced.

Viral scene

Meanwhile, one of its scenes showing the confrontation of Angelica Panganiban with Maris Racal went viral.

In social media apps like Tiktok and Twitter, the public shares how amusing the scene is. In fact, even the show’s director shared the clip on her Instagram saying,
