‘Aking mahiwaga:’ Miguel Guico of Ben&Ben welcomes married life


Miguel Benjamin Guico of the popular folk-rock band Ben&Ben has announced his marriage with partner Karell Bulan.

Sharing one of the most important days of his life, Miguel unveiled the news through Instagram. He posted a picture with now-wife Karell as they face each other in front of the altar. From the looks of it, their wedding ceremony was held in a church.

Nevertheless, the two made a beautiful pairing while donning their wedding attires.

Ben&Ben’s Miguel Guico announces marriage

As sweet as their smash hit Araw-Araw, Miguel is one proud man to her wife, Karell. In the said post dating Saturday, the vocalist referenced their famous romantic song for his caption.

The Ben&Ben frontman wrote in the social update, “Umaga na sa ating duyan. Sa hirap at ginhawa, lungkot at ligaya, ikaw ang kasama, ang aking mahiwaga.”

In another photo, the husband-and-wife is seen striking a pose with the other members of the nine-piece band. Present at the event were Paolo Guico, Poch Barretto, Toni Muñoz, Jam Villanueva, Agnes Reoma, Andrew de Pano, Patricia Lasaten and Keifer Cabugao.

Many entertainment colleagues wished the newly wedded partners good wishes for their union. Moira dela Torre, Gab Pangilinan, and Jolina Magdangal were among those who sent their congratulatory greetings to the couple.

Looking back,  two bandmates of Ben&Ben also shared with fans big news involving their relationship in December last year. In particular, Agnes and Patricia earlier made headlines for revealing their engagement which occurred in July 2022.

Ben&Ben recently held a successful homecoming concert following a breakthrough music tour that took place in North America. Their latest releases are The Way You Look At Me (2023) and Paninindigan Kita (2022).
