The revenge-psychological-drama centers in the life of married couple Ji Sun Woo, a medical doctor, Lee Tae Oh, an aspiring movie director. The husband’s betrayal leads to a whirlwind of revenge — and it’s weirdly disturbing.

The drama is based on the BBC One drama, Doctor Foster.

Personally, A World Of Married Couple is one of the best dramas I’ve seen in my entire existence.

Kim Hee Ae, who portrayed the role of Sun Woo, even won the Best Actress Award at this year’s Baeksang Awards for her outstanding performance. While Han So-hee, who played the young and beautiful mistress Da Kyung, was nominated for Best New Actress.
