‘An Inconvenient Love’ starring DonBelle ranks 9th in Netflix’s Global Top 10
Less than a week after its debut on Netflix, An Inconvenient Love entered the platform’s Global Top 10 ranking.
The Star Cinema 2022 romantic-comedy film stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, more prominently known as the DonBelle love team. The movie revolves around two young lovers who consented to be in a casual relationship. However, complications will arise from this “convenient arrangement as their romance reaches an expiration date.”
Furthermore, An Inconvenient Love is written by Enrico Santos and Daisy Cayanan, with the direction of Petersen Vargas. It was launched in cinemas on November 23 last year, thus welcoming the physical return of ABS-CBN Films following a hiatus due to the pandemic.
Then, last February 23, An Inconvenient Love premiered on the leading streaming service provider Netflix. As the data revealed, not only the audiences in the Philippines but also viewers across the globe loved the show.
‘An Inconvenient Love’ enters Netflix’s Global Top 10
On Wednesday, Star Cinema shared the recent milestone of An Inconvenient Love. According to a report by ABS-CBN news, it entered Netflix’s Global Top 10 list, clinching the ninth spot.
The ranking was a result of 1.96 million hours amount of worldwide streams, counting the week of February 24 to 26. In addition to this achievement, the movie became the number-one film in the same week in the Philippines
An Inconvenient Love also features the participation of Tirso Cruz III, Lara Quigaman, Teresa Loyzaga, Maxene Magalona, and JC Alcantara. Likewise, Adrian Lindayag, Brian Sy, Iana Bernardez, Vance Larena, Krissy Achino, and Sheenly Gener are part of the cast.
Pangilinan and Mariano previously headlined the hit series He’s Into Her. They debuted on the big screen through the flick Love Is Color Blind.
