Filipinos continues to shine at different International Male Pageants

It has been quite the weekend for male pageants as Filipino representatives continue to take these competitions by storm. In just a span of three days, three Filipinos managed to score big, either bringing home a title or securing a close finish. This proves once again that The Philippines is truly an international pageant powerhouse.

Unlike its female counterpart, male pageants only found success in recent years, slowly but surely gaining recognition. With its rise also comes the level of competitiveness—one that Filipinos are known for.

Giving them the appreciation, they deserve, let us meet these three striking and powerful Filipinos, charming their way to victory.

Kristzan Karlo De Los Santos

Launching in 2017, Mister Grand International aspires to transform young men into exceptional leaders through empowerment.

On its fifth edition, the pageant took place on November 25 from the carnival islands of Trinidad and Tobago. Besting out 22 other contestants, Kristzan Karlo De Los Santos lands himself as first-runner-up. Hailing from Imus, Cavite, he places behind eventual winner, Michael Pelletier of Switzerland.

Jovy Bequillo

Making history, Jovy Bequillo becomes the first Man Hot Star International 2022. He won the title on November 25 at the True Icon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand.

Aside from the title, the 27-year-old from Naga also won Best in social media.

John Ernest Tanting

From one inaugural pageant to other, Beaute International 2022 is latest of the bunch. Taking place in Istanbul, Turkiye on November 27, another Filipino made an incredible feat.

Winning the pageant’s male division is Cebu’s very own John Ernest Tanting. Bagging another award, he was also named best in national costume.
