Married Women Are Now Allowed to Compete at Miss Universe Philippines 2023
Hey, Universe, guess what? Miss Universe Philippines have started to allow married and single women to compete in its 2023 edition!
A first in the Philippine pageant industry, this groundbreaking move coincides with the new rules of the Miss Universe Organization. Effective this year, married women are now qualified to enter their country’s national pageant.
In a social media post, MUPH has released its call for aspiring beauty queens to apply. If you are interested and want to represent the new generation of Filipina women, here’s how you can join.
‘Bring out the Queen in you!’
Open all women, regardless of their civil status and height, must be Filipino citizens whose age range from 18 to 27 years old. You can download their application through this link and once completed, submit it to contact@missuniverseph.com
The application period closes on January 29, 2023, at 11:59 P.M.
Miss Universe 2022 Celeste Cortesi has yet to compete at Miss Universe 2022. She will be heading to New Orleans, Louisiana in January, eyeing to keep our 12-year streak alive and hopefully, win our 5th crown.
