Lovi Poe thanks GMA-7 after her move to ABS-CBN
Lovi Poe thanked GMA-7, her home network for 15 years, after signing her contract with ABS-CBN.
On Instagram last Thursday, September 16, the actress described how 15 years as a Kapuso was no joke.
Lovi wrote,
“Hindi po biro ang 15 years. I would like to thank GMA for taking a chance on this unknown dreamer; for believing in me and supporting me all these years. I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories.”
In addition, she thanked GMA for “planting her dreams” and giving them the time and love that they need.
Lovi’s celebrity colleagues, like Iza Calzado, Max Collins, and Yasmien Kurdi, left her messages of love in the comments section.
Additionally, the newly-signed Kapamilya star began her career in GMA-7 in 2006 via the youth-oriented series Love to Love.
In the same year, she landed her first leading role in the drama series Bakekang.
Moreover, the show would bag Lovi the PMPC Star Award for Best New Female TV Personality in 2007.
Over the years, Lovi would star in various GMA series like Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas, Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real, I Can See You, and Owe My Love.
Meanwhile, for her first project in ABS-CBN, Lovi is set to star alongside Piolo Pascual in the Filipino adaptation of the Korean drama Flower of Evil.
Congratulations on your new journey, Lovi!
