These International Tourist Destinations Are Set to Reopen Soon


As we gradually adapt to the ‘new normal’ and bring back the economy up, some international destinations are now planning to open their doors again to visitors, so long as proper safety measures are strictly followed.
“Non-essential travels” are still discouraged by most governments across countries but tourism is one of the many industries heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In fact, this paves the way for discussions of hosting popular spots to move toward welcoming tourists back.

Of course, these plans are being considered with safety and precautions above all. According to the news reported by CNN Travel, the European Union are set on an action plan to reopen its internal borders in time for summer, while countries such as Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have formed “travel bubbles,” lifting restrictions for each other’s citizens.

There are also some international destinations in the Caribbean islands which are preparing to open their doors to foreign visitors by June, while destinations such as Mexico and Thailand are planning to open up again region by region in the coming weeks.
