6th VP Choice Awards: Official Nominees for Entertainment and Lifestyle

Marking its 6th year, the Village Pipol Choice Awards (VPCA) proudly unveils its official list of nominees across various categories, including Entertainment and Lifestyle. This milestone sets the stage for the much-anticipated red carpet and awarding ceremony, where top celebrities, influencers, and business executives will gather in May 2025.

The VP Choice Awards honors the Pipol’s favorites in Business, Technology, Travel, Lifestyle, and Entertainment. It stands as the most followed and engaging award-giving event in the Philippines, garnering hundreds of millions of interactions and widespread reach each year.

With a curated list of nominees who made a significant impact throughout 2024, the 6th VP Choice Awards is once again expected to dominate conversations and engagements, solidifying its reputation as the trusted, and the year’s most talked-about awarding event.

The Entertainment category spans TV, Movies, Radio, Music, and Social Media. Notably, this year introduces the first-ever P-POP Group and Rising P-POP Group Award, which falls under the Music & Radio category.

In addition, 6th VP Choice Awards debuts the Pi-PoLL Power Pick. Through this feature, the most-voted candidates in selected categories automatically secure an official nomination last year before the announcement.

What to Expect in the 6th VP Choice Awards

The Village Pipol Magazine and RED Entertainment, Inc. have meticulously produced and organized the event to ensure a curated selection of nominees. Beyond public and online nominations, the process includes exclusive submissions from agencies and focus group discussions, evaluated by industry experts and the Village Pipol Editorial Team.

The online voting period will run from March 14 to April 15, 2025, contributing 50% to the winners’ selection. The remaining 50% will come from the Panel of Experts and the Village Pipol Editorial Team.

This year’s Hall of Fame Awardees include Pablo (Composer of the Year), Bubblies (Fandom of the Year), and DonBelle (Love Team of the Year), who achieved this honor by winning their categories for three consecutive years. Starting with the 6th VPCA, Hall of Fame inductees are now eligible for continuous nominations, enabling them to earn multiple Hall of Fame awards. This change recognizes their sustained relevance and significant contributions to the community and the Pipol.
