Elemental is one of the best creations of Disney and Pixar. It is here to teach us important lessons that we must learn in life.
This film is one of Disney’s and Pixar’s best creation. It is about love, acceptance, importance of communication and following or dreams.
About Elemental
It is a story that welcome us into the world where fire, water, earth, and air lives in harmony in a beautiful city called Element City. It revolves around the characters Ember, a Fire Girl, and Wade, a Water Guy, who discover that their uniqueness can bring them closer together.
Aside from the story itself, the concept of the whole movie is captivation. It has great visuals, awesome soundtrack, full of emotions and humor. However, it is not Pixar without its life lesson that can affect us to the core.
Five Life Lessons in the movie
1. Accept and embrace differences.
This is one of most obvious lessons from the movie. As wen can see Ember and Wade is different in terms of physical and societal beliefs. However, eventually they learn to compromise and accept their differences. Embrace the diversity and individual skills form others.
2. Avoid baseless assumptions.
Elemental taught us not to create baseless judgements and assumptions from physical appearances. Let us look in their souls rather than our stereotypes.
3. Be the Pilot of your own life.
As the story goes, Ember is discovering her dreams and passions with Wade. Learning to live our lives in our own way will bring us joy. Even though taking a different path than what others expect from you.
4. Don’t invalidate your emotions.
Wade is now one of my favorite movie characters. I love how he just let his emotions flows. He is vulnerable and his fine with that. Also, he is not afraid showing what he feels and expressing what he wants to tell.
He expresses himself freely. Moreover,we need to learn that its okay to show our vulnerable side because this is what makes us stronger.
5. Communicate
This film will teach you the importance of communication. That the simple calling via phone, telling what you feel is crucial. It is necessary to build a nice and healthy relationship.
Elemental is a cinematic gem. It will make you appreciate life, inspires you to be better and see the beauty of others. This is a must-watch movie.
