Wowowin returns to German Moreno Studio every Friday to bring more entertainment and hope to loyal viewers

Wowowin

Every Friday beginning November 6, the country’s top-rating variety program Wowowin continues to bring bigger smiles and a deeper sense of hope to Pinoy households as it airs live from the German Moreno Studio.

Last April, TV host Willie Revillame pushed for the return of the live broadcast of his program Wowowin, with the help of GMA Network to continue bringing joy and hope among his fellow Filipinos amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The New Wowowin

With strict adherence to social distancing measures and important guidelines given by experts, Willie decided to reformat his show at the Wil Tower without compromising the fun and amazing prizes at stake. There is no audience present, only a few production staff, and a band for Willie’s song numbers and performances.

In fact, it also launched the segment called ‘Tutok to Win,’ wherein Willie calls a lucky viewer to win cash prizes ranging from P10,000 to P50,000 if they answer his questions right.

Aside from that, the widely-followed program started an early Christmas treat via ‘Spin A Wil’ where Willie calls a viewer and he/she wins P10,000 instantly. An additional prize awaits the viewer if he/she answers Willie’s question correctly.

The viewer gets a chance to spin the wheel and win the following prizes: P10,000, P20,000, P30,000, P50,000, P100,000, Wil Kart, Kitchen Showcase, Living Room Showcase, or Electronics Showcase.

Always safety first

Willie admits that he misses the presence and high spirits of the studio audience. However, everyone’s safety comes first hence, he vows to keep creating unforgettable experiences for those watching at home.

He said, “Nami-miss ko na kayong lahat. Nami-miss na namin ‘yung sumisigaw ‘pag naka-‘handa na ba kayo?’ Nami-miss ko na ‘yung si nanay, si lola sumasayaw. [Nami-miss] ko na ‘yung ‘Kuya Willie, kuya Willie.’ Nami-miss naming lahat ‘yan. Pero ganun pa man ho, kahit na wala kaming kasama sa studio, tuluy-tuloy pa rin po ang programang Wowowin para sa inyong lahat.”

From Monday to Thursday, Wowowin continues to be held live at the Wil Tower while every Friday, it will air live episodes from its original home – the German Moreno Studio at GMA Network. Willie also brings back the segment ‘InstaJam’ to feature and help various talented musicians every Friday.

“Magkakaroon na po tayo ng live na mga InstaJam, kantahan. Para ‘yung mga walang trabahong musikero, ‘yung mga walang trabahong kumakanta, may trabaho kayo every Friday!,” he related.

Catch Wowowin Mondays to Fridays, before 24 Oras, on its official social media pages and on GMA-7.
