In the realm of destiny’s embrace, Kych Minemoto and his tale unfurl —a journey ignited by a flame, whispered secrets of the stage. At that moment, he embraced the muse’s call, entwining his soul with the boundless realms of thespian art. In the tapestry of his choices, he found solace in the path of the actor, a destiny inked in passion.

Kych Minemoto was thinking of pursuing photography, videography, production designing, curating, and so much more. Amidst the allure of other artistic realms, he discovered that the stage held his heart captive, and with every performance, his soul whispered with no regrets.

Wala akong pinagsisihan na ito ‘yung career para sa akin po kasi masarap magtrabaho basta mahal mo ang ginagawa mo. Minsan nakakapagod talaga pero isipin niyo po na ‘yung trabaho na hindi niyo gusto, mas nakakapagod ‘yun. Mapapagod tayo, at some point, pero dahil masaya tayo, gagawain at gagawin natin talaga ‘to.

Ang pinakagusto ko sa pag-aarte talaga is yung pagsuot ng sapatos ng ibang tao. Iba po kasi yung feeling pag nagkakaroon ka ng bagong kakilala kunyari bagong character yung binigay sayo, bago siyang kilala sakin so eexplore ko siya, kikilalanin ko siya, at pag nakilala ko siya, minsan nakaka-amaze, parang may mga ganito pala talagang tao?

Iba yung tama nila sa tama mo, iba yung mali nila sa mali mo, based din siyempre sa pinagdaanan nila at problema nila and seeing those problems ng isang tao, medyo nakakagaan kasi marerealize mo na hindi lang ikaw yung may problema eh, at the same time mas maiisip mo na may mas malala pa talaga na problema sa problema mo. So bakit tayo magwo-worry diba? So, yeah, masarap gumanap ng iba’t-ibang klaseng character, magkuwento ng mgs istorya sa madla.

Masasabi ko po talaga sa younger self ko, galingan mo. I’m proud of you. You’re exactly where you are supposed to be. Kasi kung wala ka diyan, wala ako ngayon dito. Kung iba dinaanan mo ngayon, baka iba rin ang posisyon ko ngayon. So huwag kang susuko. Maraming heartaches, pero yung heartaches na yung ang tutulong para maging stronger na artist ka ngayon.

Siguro masasabi ko lang na you did a great job, you’re still alive! Alam ko maraming heartaches pero nalagpasan mo lahat yun. Maraming success story pero naging humble ka pa rin. Just stay kind, stay healthy, stay humble, and keep mo pa rin yung fire mo kasi hindi pa tapos ang laban. Marami pa tayong pangarap na gusto pa tuparin at by that time, may bago kang goial na dapat abutin. Marami nang goals ang na-achieve pero fighter tayo e, so mas marami pa tayong gustong i-achieve pa. Ang masasabi ko lang, congrats and good luck for more.

A beacon of hope, he illuminates screens, inviting souls to see themselves mirrored in the kaleidoscope of mainstream media.

It’s an honor kasi na-visualize nila ako para sa sapatos ng isang queer masarap kasi napapansin nila yung craft ko sa acting na kaya kong gampanan yung taong ‘yun. Yung sapatos na ‘yun kaya kong suotin at hindi biro suotin ang sapatos ng mga queer kasi grabe yung pinagdadaanan nila and magegets mo kung bakit sila strong pero hindi sila sumosobra. Pero, kasi dito kasi sa atin sa Pilipinas, di pa natin gaano katanggap ang LGBTQIA+.

So, magegets mo kung bakit sila ganoon ka-strong kailangan nila panghawakan yung sarili nila, kailangan nila protektahan yung sarili nila so hindi mo sila masisisi, eh. At the same time, masaya ako kasi ako yung navi-visualize ng mga directors or scriptwiters para sa siang role na yun at nakakapag-touch tayo ng puso ng ibang tao.

Ang daming nagme-message sa’kin or pag may nakakasalamuha ako, nagku-kwento sila kung paano sila naapektuhan sa character na ginawa ko. Lalo na ang pinaka-favorite na character ko na ginawa is yung kay Aklis, ginampanan ko yun sa Game Boy at saka sa PaThirsty. Ang dami kong natutunan mas tumaas ang respeto ko sa community at mas na-gets ko sila at sobrang sarap lang na ma-appreciate ka ng community.

Masasabi ko lang po talaga e maraming salamat. Happy pride po at salamat dahil napansin niyo ang aking portrayal sa characters na ginampanan ko. Bilang ally masarap sakin na magkaroon ng pwesto or na tanggapin ng buong-buo dito sa community.

Kasi alam naman po natin na hindi lahat kaya gampanan yung ganong role so maswerte po talaga ako na binigyan ako ng ideya first ng company ng isang break at ng viva so thank you po talaga. Sana more projects, more characters ang marami pa po kayong sapat makita so excited na po akong mapanood niyo yun. Maraming salamat po sa community na sumusuporta po sakin.
