We know that we’re still anticipating the end of this pandemic so we can just have a me-time at our favorite spots to unwind. But before that, we can do research and bookmark all the nearby places we want to visit badly after the government eases the restrictions here in NCR. If you want a few hours away from Manila, then look no further and begin with Baliraya Resort and Spa in Lumban, Laguna.

This scenic resort in Lumban takes inspiration from the tropical themes of Bali while maximizing the charm of the nearby Caliraya Lake. Hence, it got the name “Baliraya”. The whole lodging consists of six air-conditioned bedrooms and seven shared baths. An overnight fee here costs PHP 7,020 per night, inclusive of breakfast.

It boasts of clean and fresh interiors, the kind of ambiance you’ll crave for slow days. For an outdoor activity, guests can access the lake for kayaking and fishing. Just remember to book a reservation before going there because they do not accept walk-ins.
