‘The General’s Daughter’ leads VP Choice Awards 2019 TV category

Village Pipol Choice Awards recently announced their full and official list of nominees. It is consists of brands, online personalities and TV and movie stars. The VPCA Nominee Grand Reveal is hosted by Sky Quizon and Angela Alarcon. For the TV Category, ABS-CBN defunct TV series The General’s Daughter dominates with three nominatons. It bags nods in TV Series of the Year, TV Actor of the Year, and TV Actress of the year.

The General’s Daughter will compete with ABS-CBN shows Los Bastardos, Halik, Kadenang Ginto and GMA dramas Sahaya, and Onanay.

Arjo Arayde, who portrayed the mentally-challenged Elai, joins Jericho Rosales (Halik), Joshua Garcia (Ngayon at Kailanman), Ken Chan (My Special Tatay), Tony Labrusca (Mea Culpa), and Jake Cuenca (Los Bastardos) in the TV Actor of the year nominess.

On the other hand, Angel Locsin battles with Bianca Umali (Sahaya), Dimples Romana (Kadenang Ginto), Max Collins (Bihag), Kris Bernal (Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Buhay Ko), and Thea Tolentino (Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko) for the TV Actress of the Year.
