Darren Espanto bags three nominations at VP Choice Awards 2019

Village Pipol Choice Awards recently announced their full and official list of nominees. It is consists of brands, online personalities and TV and movie stars. The VPCA Nominee Grand Reveal is hosted by Sky Quizon and Angela Alarcon. Of course, one of the artists who got three nominations is Darren Espanto.

The teen singer-actor is nominated for two awards — Performer of the Year and Cover of the Year, which is the major award.

In fact, Darren will compete with Sarah Geronimo, Moira dela Torre, Morisette Amon, Maymay Entrata, and Kisses Delavin for the Performer of the Year award. He starred in The Aces concert with Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha and Soul Princess Jona.

For the Cover of the Year award, all 12 cover stars of 2019 will vie for this recognition. Darren, who graced the cover of Village Pipol Magazine last July, joins Bianca Umali, CK Manalad and Vivoree Esclito, PBB Otso Big Four, Kris Bernal, Jake Cuenca, Kevin Balot, Dennis Trillo, Julie Anne San Jose, Starstruck 2019 Top 4, Mimiyuuuh and Benedict Cua, and Tony Labrusca.

Meanwhile, Darren’s official fandom, Darrenatics, is nominated for the Fandom of the Year, alongside Aldenatics, Little Ponies, MayWard, Popsters, and A ‘Tins.

Online voting starts on December 5, Thursday at www.vpchoiceawards.com.
