The Eat Bulaga Dabarkad said that she feels proud of what Toni has become and her many achievements.

“To our one and only bratanela, our chipsy, today is your day! I have never been happier to be called your mom. To my feisty, miniature lady, I love you so much! Got your back babe. Happy, happy birthday. I love you forever.”

In September last year, Toni earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences at UP Manila. She currently resides in California, USA. After a long career in the Philippine entertainment industry, Ruby has decided to live in the States. This has also become a matter that she cleared up, putting speculations to rest.

In a chat with 24 Oras reporter Lhar Santiago, Ruby Rodriguez also revealed that her son AJ has a medical condition that needs attending to. Then, the comedienne confided,

“Alam naman ng lahat na my son AJ, he’s SPED [special education], but he has medical problems also – meron siyang rare autoimmune [disease]. ‘Yung sa rare autoimmune niya, kidneys niya kasi ang nadali. So, diyan sa Philippines na-biopsy na siya lahat, so he’s being treated para hindi siya matransplant ‘yun ang ina-avoid. So, dinala ko siya dito for medical purposes.”

(Everybody already knows that my son, AJ, is SPED [special education]. But he also has medical problems, such as rare autoimmune [disease]. With regard to this, his kidneys were the ones affected. So, there in the Philippines, a couple of biopsies were performed. He’s being treated in order to avoid transplant. That’s why I brought him—for medical purposes.)
