Relive your childhood with ‘Ghost Fighter’ on Netflix this June!

It’s official, anime fans. The childhood favorite anime “Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files”, or popularly known as “Ghost Fighter” is coming to Netflix this month of June. The good news was confirmed on the “Coming Soon” section of the global video streaming app. All four seasons of this 90s classic will be up on the 26th of this month.

However, Netflix hasn’t officially announced the arrival of the series on any of its official social media platforms yet.

Ghost

The show, which adapted the manga of the same name by Yoshihiro Togashi, first aired in 1992. It was aired on GMA Network in 1999 with the title “Ghost Fighter.”

“Ghost Fighter” follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who is struck and killed by a car while attempting to save a child’s life. He was granted another chance at life by redeeming himself as a “Spirit Detective.”

Eugene, the lead character of the anime series, has become part of Pinoy pop culture.

The rest of the characters’ names also got localized: Kazuma Kuwabara is better known as Alfred, Hiei as Vincent, and Kurama as Dennis.
