Introducing realme TV

realme TV is powered by Android TV

It is powered by Android TV and comes with pre-installed video streaming apps with the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime videos, and Youtube among others.

In addition, Goggle applications like Google Play Store are made available giving users more flexibility to install applications of their choice.

Most importantly, there’s a built-in Chromecast app available, a technology that can synchronize video programs, movies, and other video apps to a smart TV by pairing a smartphone via Google.

Likewise, to pair devices for casting, simply connect to the same WiFi connectivity via Google, and hola you’re devices are now interconnected.

It looks premium!

We fell in love with realme TV’s super-thin screen-to-edge ratio

The simplicity of the aesthetics highlights its built and design. Not too plain, not too fancy, and surely can fit any interior.

Moreover, Its premium edge-to-edge bezel-less design, with the super-thin screen-to-edge ratio is one of its assets.

Above all, the design gives it a more premium feel versus other smart TVs in the same price range with bulky protruding borders.

The cinematic experience with realme TV!

realme’s Android TV boasts a 108cm screen size, a 1980 x 1080 resolution, and a 16:9 screen ratio. What we worry about most given its specification and price category is the entertainment value of this smart TV.

Other Smart TVs suffer from low to unbalanced picture quality, but that’s not the case with this device, all thank’s to its signature Chroma Boost Engine.

The said technology enhances the overall picture quality, and clarity for overall much more stunning visuals. In other words, it can deliver a crystal clear movie experience.

On the other hand, its ultra-high brightness of up to 400+ nits peak makes its screen clearly visible even when it’s placed in bright rooms.

realme TV delivers crisp and detailed video quality
realme TV delivers crisp and detailed video quality while streaming in “The Untamed” in Full HD via WeTV.

Aside from the pre-installed Netflix, we also stream in Full HD (1080P) via the WeTV app, a video streaming service where we have VIP Premium subscriptions.

All our hesitation went away when the epic Chinese drama “The Untamed” starts playing in Full HD*. Sure, it delivers an impressive entertainment value by showcasing a crisp, and detailed video quality.

Also, the sound quality is a stand-out because of its Dolby Audio, Speakers, as a result, our experience is as if we are inside the cinema.

Dolby Audio is a technology that can split and play sounds in discreet channels from different sides (front, side, and rear) and create a surround sound effect for an even more immersive experience.

*Please take note that to achieve an impressive FHD streaming quality, you will need to have a stable internet connection.

Is it value-for-money?
