realme 8i makes stellar debut on Lazada, selling out in just over 30 minutes!
realme, the Philippines’ number one smartphone brand as of Q3 2021, continues to achieve exceptional growth in the smartphone category, this time with its latest offering to complete the widely successful 8 Series line-up: the realme 8i.
Launched via a live stream event on the realme Philippines’ Facebook page and YouTube channel on November 16, the realme 8i has a design that delivers an #InfinitelySmooth experience in all aspects.

The new phone then made its exclusive early-bird selling on Lazada hours after its launch and was received very warmly by its consumers, having sold out on the platform in just 35 minutes after its launch.
This success comes on the heels of the previous top-selling performances of the other 8 Series devices: the 108MP camera-equipped realme 8 Pro, the reliable gaming companion realme 8, and the 5G-capable realme 8 5G, all launched earlier this year.

Its features
The 8i is the brand’s first smartphone to run on the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, guaranteeing a smooth overall performance be it for gaming, entertainment, or productivity.
This is complemented by a 120Hz Ultra Smooth Display offering noticeably fluid visuals. Other features include a 50MP AI Triple Camera, 5000mAh Mega Battery with 18W Fast Charge, Ultra-Fast Side Fingerprint, and a 3-card SIM and Micro-SD tray (up to 256GB).
It comes in two stunning colors: Space Black and Stellar Purple, and is available in two storage variants: 4GB+64GB, and 6GB+128GB. It retails for P9,990 and P11,990 respectively.
The 8i is still available in nearly 500 stores and over 4,000 partner dealers nationwide.
