Play, Dine, and Unwind with Tivoli Royale Country Club

Tivoli Royale Country Club had a media launch last September 16, 2022. Village Pipol Magazine was honored to attend such an event where simultaneous morning activities were held on every floor. The whole day was hosted by the ever-so-jolly Valerie Tan.

Morning activities 

During the morning activity, Village Pipol Magazine’s very own Angela Baltan, Aubrey Dela Cruz, and Darlene Febre joined the Mini Bowling Tournament. Angela was able to reach the second level. However, she couldn’t keep up with the legends she had to compete with. Of course, this certain morning activity happened simultaneously with everything else. 

Other morning activities included Volleyball 101 with Tivoli Royale Brand Ambassador Michelle Gumabao, airsoft, and ATV among others. Then, there were other mini-tournaments for Driving Range, Badminton, and Tennis. It was definitely a fun way to start the day at the Tivoli Royale Country Club.

Afternoon wellness and fitness talk 

Gut Wellness Talk

The afternoon came around with a gut wellness talk with Cheshire Que RND, RN, RD. During the talk at the Grand Royale at Tivoli Royale Country Club, she expressed the importance of gut health when it comes to one’s immune system. However, sometimes, due to our lifestyles, we alter our own gut microbiome. So, she talked about gut destroyers and how we should all take care of our guts. 

She recommended the 3 Rs for Gut Health. 1) Remove triggers like gluten, dairy, refined sugar, trans fat, and food intolerances. 2) Repair your gut with functional foods. These foods have health benefits beyond basic nutrition, whole food, and predominantly plant-based options. 3) Repopulate good bacteria by feeding your gut microbiome with prebiotics. 

Fitness Talk

Aside from gut health, the afternoon was also filled with fitness talks with power couple and fitness and wellness biohackers, Coach Toni Saret and Coach Jim Saret. They talked about how the COVID-19 pandemic caused quarantine weight gain. Then, they taught attendees something unheard of. They taught a one-minute wellness habit to help people jumpstart their fitness program.

Coaches Toni and Jim called it a 1-Minute Metabolic Burst. Its overall goal revolves around the following:

  • Jumpstart the body’s metabolism
  • Improves blood circulation
  • Increase heart rate
  • Improve joint flexibility 
  • Develop muscle strength
  • Stimulate the release of endorphins

Of course, it wouldn’t be complete if attendees didn’t try out their workouts. And, let me tell you, it will keep your heart pumping! So, check out Coaches Toni and Jim and engage in their METABEATS workouts on Metro. They will show you four-minute cardiovascular and muscular exercises that anyone can follow. Although attendees at the Tivoli Royale Country Club tried these workouts while sitting, it’s just as effective!

Dinner festivities

Finally, the day ended with a Royale Banquet at the Grand Royale of the Tivoli Royale Country Club. A beautiful violinist serenaded the attendees during the dinner. It was a day to remember and I will surely go back for another day filled with playing, dining, and unwinding.
