Pinterest Finds For Outfit Inspos During The Cold Weather

Last May 25, I published an article about mastering one’s personal fashion style. I mentioned that when I started working for a magazine gave me a chance to widen my knowledge of fashion. Working on fashion covers, I started using Pinterest for inspiration for mood boards. Of course, I would see outfits that I knew I liked and would look good on my type of body.

Having all these different images of outfits in one place really allowed me to take a look at the bigger picture. It also allowed me to analyze the similarities between these different looks and why I liked them. Because of Pinterest, I realized that I actually liked mixing different fabrics together. Aside from that, I would try to replicate outfits with things I already have.

Despite writing that article, I actually have yet to master my personal fashion style. However, in the world of fashion bloggers and influencers, I’ve used them as inspiration to my advantage. But, with the chilly weather coming due to the storms and the -ber months that have arrived, we all have to dress accordingly to protect ourselves from the illnesses we can get from the cold.

So, with that said, let me give you a few of my Pinterest finds for outfit inspiration during the cold weather:

Sweaters have become a must-have for the cold weather. I saw this look on the image-sharing platform and thought it would look good on everybody. However, since the Philippines is a tropical country, you could ditch the turtleneck underneath the blue and red sweater. Then, tuck it in with the flared trousers of your choice. Then, complete the fit with a pair of heeled boots.

This, on the other hand, looks quite similar to the earlier one. But, this features a black sweater and an eye-catching pair of trousers. Since we live in the Philippines, the sun can still blare down at us even with the cold weather. So, accessorize it with your favorite black sunnies and layer your gold necklaces together. Then, complete it with a pair of heeled black booties.

Now, since we do live in the Philippines, cardigans become an easy way to protect ourselves from the cold weather. Just like the photo below, you can go ahead with a sleeveless top or bodysuit. Then, complete the outfit with a pair of trousers, a comfy cardigan, and sneakers of your choice.

If you get cold really easily, you can wear a collared silk top and a tie of your choice. Then, pair it with a cardigan that has the same color as your top. And, put on your black trousers and platform leather boots. Of course, grab your bag and this could be perfect for office wear.

Sweater vests, on the other hand, have become recently popular to elevate outfits. However, you can also utilize this to warm yourself up on a cold day. So, for a comfortable day at the office, you can wear a white button-up top, baggy trousers, and layer an oversized sweater vest that matches the colors of your entire outfit.

Of course, sweater vests are also for day-offs when you want to dress up a simple white shirt. Layer a printed sweater vest and a pair of trousers for a pop of color. It makes your outfit warmer and stylish.

Reasons Why You Should Have A Cat at Home

Although the Philippine weather can get hot really easily, leather jackets or blazers may still be perfect for this weather. So, take it out from the back of your closets and wear it out and about. Pair it with a simple white shirt and your favorite trousers. Then, complete the outfit with a pair of black boots.

Oversized leather jackets are a favorite nowadays. So, take it with a beige cropped top, a pair of pants in the same color palette, and a pair of sneakers or black boots. It’s also helpful to accessorize your outfit in the said same color palette. That way, you can look as cohesive as you can.

Blazers are a must-have for officewear. Use it to protect yourself from cold weather. Grab a graphic tee and if you’re really cold, you can also layer it with a long-sleeved button-up. Then, put on a comfortable knee-length skirt and a high-cut black boots.

If you’re experiencing an init-lamig weather, grab a cropped blazer and a pair of trousers. Then, grab your sneakers and accessorize the outfit. You can also put a cropped tank top underneath. That way, you can take off the blazer just in case you feel warmer.
