Pauline Amelinckx stuns during the Miss Supranational 2023 preliminaries
The 2023 Miss Supranational preliminary competition proved to be a revelation for Philippine bet Pauline Amelinckx as she exceeds expectations due to her outstanding performance.
In a sea of cross-over queens, fierce rivals, and other popular candidates, Pauline manages to stand out on her own. Showing vast improvement from her previous national stints, it is clear that she worked hard, and it definitely paid off.
As she fights for not only a Top 24 semifinal spot but also our second crown, here’s a look at Pauline’s preliminary performance.

Swimsuit
Since she started competing in pageants, two of Pauline’s weaknesses has always been her body and pasarela. However, her clean and smooth preliminary swimsuit performance can definitely dispel any of these concerns.
Rocking the runway while flaunting her figure confidently, it is evident that Pauline has now embraced her flaws and turned them around. As someone who has been body shamed and chastised for her walk, this was indeed a victory of its own.
Evening Gown
Giving the right amount of elegance and appeal, Pauline came out in a stunning silver evening gown by Louis Pangilinan. Giving us something different from what we typically see from her was both a bold decision and a wonderful change.
Coming in full circle, Pauline was wearing what was supposed to be her finals gown for Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
The coronation night of Miss Supranational 2023 will be taking place on July 14 (July 15 here in the Philippines) in Poland. Pauline will be competing alongside 65 candidates for the crown.
