Must-Have Clothing Pieces That You Should Have Before You’re 30

At this point in our lives, we realize that 30 has become the new 20. And, as a 25-year-old woman experiencing her quarter-life crisis, I am welcoming that stage of my life with open arms. Our 20s were all about figuring out who you are, what you want to do, and who you want to surround yourself with. Then, our 30s will come with knowing who we are.

This, of course, includes what my personal fashion style would be. I’ve mentioned this before and I will mention it again. I am on my way to mastering my personal fashion style. As of this writing, I realize that style is all about quality than quantity. That’s why I’m looking to invest in clothing pieces that I might not have when I was younger.

But, of course, before we even venture to list down the things that we should have before we’re 30, make sure you decluttered and minimize items that you don’t need. That’s when you can invest in staples that actually serve a purpose in your life. These include timeless pieces that you will, hopefully, have for the next decade. This will, of course, make getting dressed in the morning a breeze. 


The first thing we will recommend for you to invest in is a pair of jeans, specifically vintage ones. You can get them second-hand and it would be a much more sustainable of shopping. The advantage to shopping vintage denim refers to the fact that they were just made better back in the day. Brands like Levi’s and Lee knew how to cut a great and flattering pair of jeans. Plus, the quality is just so much better. They last longer and even when you’re 30, you can still wear them from time to time. 


Trousers use to be a workplace staple. However, trousers have actually evolved into a chic closet staple. A good pair will last a long time. Plus, it adds variety to the already-existing items in your closet. At 30, you can trust this pair whether you’re going to work or just looking for something to spice up your everday casual wear. Plus, it’s really easy to style and way more comfortable than a pair of jeans.


There are a hundred styles of boots. It ranges from combat ones or pointed toed pairs. However, classic-styled boots last forever than some stylish ones that goes out of trend after a change of season. A classic pair of boots is versatile and stylish. You can wear with a pair of denim jeans or a leather jacket or with a sweater dress.

And, as a 30-year-old, it will definitely suit your purpose better than a backpack or a hand purse. It’s ideal for everybody. Plus, it could make a fashion statement. Handbags come in different shapes and structures that are bound to make you look smarter and modern. So, why not get one?
